Blue Jean Ball – a party for greenspace! Seeking sponsors…

Dear Friends of Greenspaces,

Because you help make North-Central West Virginia such a vibrant place to live and explore, the West Virginia Land Trust (WVLT) and Mon River Trails Conservancy (MRTC) are beyond excited to invite you to join us as a sponsor of the 12th Annual Blue Jean Ball, taking place Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Camp Muffly Park, just minutes from downtown Morgantown.

The Blue Jean Ball has become one of the region’s most anticipated celebrations of conservation and community, bringing together hundreds of outdoor enthusiasts, community leaders, and supporters who care deeply about the places that make West Virginia wild and wonderful. The evening features local cuisine, live music, and craft beer while celebrating the trails, parks, and natural areas that strengthen our region.

For local businesses, sponsoring the Blue Jean Ball is a meaningful opportunity to align your brand with a mission that resonates strongly across our community. Sponsors receive recognition at the event and visibility through a combined audience of 10,000+ email subscribers and more than 15,000 social media followers across WVLT and MRTC platforms, connecting your business with people who actively support companies that invest in conservation and outdoor recreation.

Proceeds from the Blue Jean Ball directly support the work of the WVLT and MRTC, helping protect land, expand public access, and steward the trails and preserves that connect our community to the outdoors. Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, we’ve been able to develop new trails, enhance safety and accessibility, and improve trailheads and signage at Toms Run Preserve and along the Mon River and Deckers Creek Rail-Trails, with additional projects already underway.

And sponsorship ensures this momentum continues to grow, ensuring 100% of ticket sales directly benefit local green spaces – the places where our community hikes, bikes, runs, skis, paddles, and reconnects with the landscapes that make West Virginia truly special.

We invite you to invest in the beauty, health, and vitality of our region by becoming a sponsor this year. Please review the sponsorship opportunities listed below. To receive maximum marketing exposure, we kindly ask that commitments be made by May 1, 2026.

Together, we can continue protecting the landscapes that make West Virginia truly wild and wonderful.

Thank you for your consideration of sponsorship!
