Location & Access

Another destination for outdoor enthusiasts was permanently protected in Fayette County!

In 2017, the West Virginia Land Trust partnered with the City of Oak Hill to purchase 283 acres of land for public recreational use.

We are thrilled to share the preserve was open to the public in 2025, offering 6.5 miles of trails prepped for hiking and mountain biking.  This property is packed with natural rock features, including a nearly 2-mile long rock wall, an 18-hole disc golf course, and a welcoming parking lot with bathrooms and a picnic shelter.  We encourage you to go check it out!
