Needleseye Boulder Park Celebration

In December, the West Virginia Land Trust has partnered with the City of Oak Hill to purchase 283 acres of land for public recreational use. This property will be the future site of the Oak Hill Needleseye Boulder Park, to include rock climbing, hiking trails and mountain biking. Join us for a celebration and tour!

Meet the Cheat… River Float

We are co-hosting the the annual "Meet the Cheat" float trip with Friends of the Cheat again! Float the Upper Cheat River Water Trail from Holly Meadows to St. George. Meet at BOA at 10am to conserve parking spaces and get a free shuttle to the put-in. (Launch by 11am to join the floatilla.) Then join the paddling after-party at Blackwater Outdoor Adventures’ take-out around 4pm. Live music, refreshments, and plenty of friends to share your big fish stories with around the campfire. Level: Beginner / Easy

Cost: $30 (single kayak rental) / $45 (tandem kayak OR canoe rental) / $10 if you have your own
